Thank you for your contribution to my blog, One History. I would like honest feedback from pro-Confederate supporters. We will discuss the Confederacy in detail, many aspects of it. Basically, what most anti-Confederate opinions are, is that the Confederates were hate-filled racists. I wish to get a feeling of what our Confederate history means to us today. Please feel free to share your honest feelings; I will not tolerate anyone being attacked for anything they would like to post here. There are no right or wrong answers, I merely want honest answers. There were two sides fighting the civil war, but one country. America will always remain divided if we can never reach out for an understanding of the bloodiest battle of our history, waged against one another. I have watched many documentaries on the civil war, and saw the battle strategies, the blood and death waged on those battlefields. In the end, I could not root for one side against another. When the carnage was shown, a Confederate victory, a Union victory, all I could think of was: They were all American. The civil war was an incredible birth pain, leading to the democracy that we are today. We should be able to talk about it. We will discuss statues, we will talk about flags, we will discuss the mood of the country as those generals took position on the field of battle to fight one another. Thank you for your support.
